More than 128 million domain names have been registered worldwide and thousands of new ones are added every day. That is why it might be hard for new users to get the name they really like for their website. One should not get discouraged from this fact, but one should try to be creative!

It should be remembered that one can use a combination of almost all characters (letters, numbers, and hyphens) for the domain. The length of a domain name can vary, but generally it should be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 67 characters.

Here are some tips how to choose a successful domain name for a website:

·         List as many words as you can think of related to your preferred domain name.

o        The non-hyphenated form may no longer be available. At least this way, one still gets
the domain name one wants.
